The Petit Palais was built in 1900 and is the site of the City of Paris Museum of Fine Arts. Seen here is an octi-circular courtyard and garden and its ionic columns. It has a remarkable collection of paintings and sculptures.

Love the golden winged statues and that someone wanted to decorate/embellish the inside view as well at that from the street.
I spent a wonderful weekend there one afternoon a few years ago. Thanks for the memory!

No one does it quite the way the French do! And I love the way you framed this shot, Genie.
Very ornate with those golden statues.
A lovely elegant Parisian building, beautifully framed between the columns. It's called Le Petit Palais but to me it appears very Grand!!

Adding this to "the list"!! How I wish I had been able to see this in my prior visits. Definitely will not miss it again. Beautifully framed shot -- love the statues and columns.
Yes, a gorgeous shot, Genie ~ and I still marvel over the bright gold of such statues!
It is incredible! How peaceful it looks, and elegant among the untame garden. Thank you Genie
"M" may want to know that one can have lunch at Le Petit Palais. It's really a beautiful building, inside and out. Really like this photo.

That looks amazing! It would be wonderful to see their collection.
C'est très bien.
Le Petit Palais is one of my favorites. The building alone is worth the visit.
I never seem to make it to this place. Thanks for the reminder and the nice photo. :)
