He really DOES look lonesome.
he almost looks as though he has been weeping x
Even without wings children are still angles. Nice closeup.
Perhaps mournful. Love the attention in details Paris has to offer for our photography pleasure!
Such a sweet little face. Well done Genie,WHEN are you coming home? V
What a cute little thing. I love carvings of angels.
Poor little thing does look quite forlorn. Nicely captured, Genie! Paris's cemeteries are a real treasure trove for anyone with a camera, aren't they?
Looks bored to me.
This one seems to have left his post a few times to frolic in the mud puddles ...
Bibi -- Very sad, I think.Sooz -- It does look like there have been tears. I am wondering where you are in your journey...Andy -- Angels most of the time anyway!Rob -- I agree, and it is difficult to take it all in!Virginia -- Home at last!Loree -- There are more than can be counted in Père Lachaise!Alexa -- I think that years ago I should have started by marking off my path(s) in PL so I could finally explore it all!Starman -- I am sure that you are not bored in Paris...Julie -- It does resemble mud, and I am glad that this little cherub is intact with not signs of damage other than the coloration.
The stains on his face look like a trail of tears through a dirty little urchin face. Great detail and perfect in B&W. Glad to be home but will miss seeing you :-) Bises ma cherie amie.
M -- glad you are home also!
JM -- Obrigada!
A (seriously) lovely capture. Such a thoughtful cherub.
