Undoubtedly! What a pair! And I'll bet they've been together longer than most celebrity couples!
I remember them! The one on the right was so funny, just so "politely" waiting for their driver to return. Wonder if all french dogs are so well behaved in cars?!

Our Daisy is just about the same color as the Golden..and is often found sitting in the front seat, when I return from whatever errand I'm running...

Bibi -- Yes, and we watched them for about 5 minutes before the "driver" showed up.
Holly -- I think that you and I agree that French dogs (and most children) are very well behaved.
Dianne -- They truly acted like royalty and quite used to traveling in style!

Jack -- I was looking for a photo that did not reflect shoes or food (hah!) for this week, and was able to discern a reflection. Voila! It was a yellow bike!
Petrea -- Most of the dogs I have seen are small, pocketbook dogs. These were rather stately as you mentioned.

RuneE -- They were well-trained and the white dog did not move at all during about a 5-minute period. He did acknowledge the driver's arrival.
Sylvia -- It did not seem very French to me at the time but the driver was quite the perky little mistress, guessing she was between 50 and 60 years old, and dressed to drive!
Yogi -- I am guessing movie stars as their "driver" although petite seemed quite capable of handling most any situation.
Alexa -- I wonder why that is? Are the NYC dogs so well behaved? In my area, the only "behaving" necessary is to walk nicely on a leash through the neighborhoods. There are no restaurant appearances here - hah!

Tash -- I do not think that many Goldens travel quite like that. I did read the other day that the Boomers are spoiling their "grand-dogs" which struck me as very funny!
Rebecca -- I think that the Golden might have honored my request but the white dog was stoic.
Michael -- I think that everyone standing around was smiling at the dogs. The photos I have of the driver with a big smile and bright eyes was an indication that she adored these pups. Merci.

If those two are movie stars, the cinema really has gone to the dogs.
The fact that neither is a Poodle makes me suspicious about the potential fame of these pooches.
On the other hand, are the organizers about to change the title of the cinematography extravaganza le Festival de Cannes to le Festival de Chiens? J'espere que non.

Bear -- Nice to see you out for a stroll... You are so right about the "poodle factor" as most of the Paris dogs are small. I think it is just difficult in Paris or any large city to manage a dog (or two!) of this size. Since there is a car perhaps they came in from the 'burbs for the Sunday afternoon (which it was)... You are very funny!
