Le Champ de Mars
I wondered how many movies have been shot here in front of Le Champ de Mars,
a brasserie sitting in view of La Tour Eiffel.
The dining reviews are mixed
but the people-watching quotient should be quite high.
The rouge awnings are perfect.

I hope they shoot lots of movies here. It looks like the perfect spot for love or intrigue.

i adored the way all the 'corner' buildings used the shape to their advantage .. i wonder if its a 'rule' of the Paris building code

It was early and it was cold...
I can always get up earlier than the Parisians (and most of the tourists) to capture the streets, the cafés, the parks without too many people, but I have a very difficult time staying up until they all go to bed at night.
When you are Paris in the summer you can challenge yourself to burn the candle at both ends. It does not get dark until about 11pm!
