L'oiseau et le chapeau

The bird and the hat?

This flashy window of H&M
is nestled between the grand windows of Le Printemps
and Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussmann.

The windows of Paris fascinate me and
I only wish I could be there to see them each time they change.

I try, believe me.

H&M is one of my favorite stores and now they're here in the US.

We should all wear an awesome chapeau like that at least once in our lives!

A little fashion eccentricity goes a long way.

Love the hat ... Trying to imagine the yoga pose that allows her legs to be up around her head ;)

That's so wonderful and quirky and I agree, the window displays in Paris are just fascinating.

This one is a little weird, Genie.

Thank you all for indulging this bit of fluff. Jack, it is a bit weird, but not the weirdest I have seen in Paris. It is almost as if each window designer is trying to outdo the last with outrageous display. Stuffed animals do seem to appear quite often.

Genie

Reminds me of the crow Johnny Depp wears as Tonto in the new Lone Ranger movie.

I love the windows of Paris, endlessly fascinating, endlessly changing. I saw a beautiful display of shaving brushes yesterday, and blogged some of my window shopping today.
