Parc de la Turlure

Parc de la Turlure

Officially known as the square Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet
but better known as Parc de la Turlure,
this is a small but charming park in Montmartre,
located right behind the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.

This site was once occupied by the moulin de Turlure,
one of more than 30 windmills that once stood on Butte Montmartre.
The park has a beautiful pergola and this cascade fountain

I like the movement in the translucent area and the almost audible sound of the splashing waterfall. Beautiful tree and peaceful plants behind. Nice warm sun.
