Fondation Louis-Vuitton

Louis Vuitton Foundation

This creative structure designed by Frank Gehry,
is an architectural wonder.  To say that it was
a challenge to build/assemble is a gross understatement.

The exterior resembles a ship with billowing sails,
an image reinforced by the movement
of moving water.

I do like this detail of it. Gehry's quite an architect.

It's hard to tell what we are seeing - typical Gehry! ;-)

Wonderful new building—but I'm glad they didn't plunk it down smack dab in the middle of Paris. :~}
