Rue de Sèvres - une cour

Rue de Sèvres
courtyard

Taken with my snorkeling camera (wet from the rain)
this courtyard has the hazy look of a pencil drawing.

I almost deleted it but the "nested rectangles" of the doorways
and the repeating glimpses of green appealed to me.

The child's bike was safely parked out of the rain.

Hi Genie,

I hate letting go of photos, though I've found it has to be done. Glad the bike is safely out of the rain! ha!

I like the clean lines --- and the cool greens contrast nicely with the pale grays.

It's a lovely composition. And the plants were probably happy, even if your camera was not!

The photo does a good job of drawing us into the courtyard. Glad you didn't delete it. But, if we aren't kind of ruthless with our images, they will swamp us!
