Square Marie Trintignant - en printemps

Square Marie Trintignant

This small garden was founded in 1933 as Ave Maria Square
and has a well-appointed 790 m².
In May of 2007 Mayor Bertrand Delanoe renamed it
after the actress Marie Trintignant.

He must have seen these trees in bloom.

Beautiful photo. I did not know Marie Trintignant had a Parisian square named after her. Do you know her Genie? Talented actress. Tragic life. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Just got smitten by that lovely banner you have here and fresh blooms from this post. Got my eye on your next posts.

I hope that Marie's dad, Jean-Louis, also will get a nice square named after him! Of course, he's still alive. I know only of Victor Hugo, who got an avenue with his name (where he then lived) already before passing away.

Very nice square and picture. Aha, she (is) was the daughter of Jean-Louis. He and Emmanuelle Riva were so excellent in the beautiful film: Amour.
Here, in Holland, there is hardly any blossom to see, trop froid!

She was such a sad soul. Hope her father and sons appreciate that this beautiful spot was renamed for her.
