How would you ever choose?

There's an eyeglass shop on every corner of Paris. I often want to stop in but I'm sure my price would not be what the French pay with their health care. I go home and buy them at the Dollar Tree. Quelle dommage.

Oh, how indeed???? Of course, with our weather in Seattle one really doesn't need sunglasses that often, so yes, it's off to the Dollar Tree for me! Fun one for the day, Genie!
Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy1

Hugs
Sylvia

Hello Genie:
A most illuminating post!!

The jar of glasses is very cool as a piece of artwork and the individual spectacles certainly "a la mode". I wonder what faces the will adorn over the years to come.

That's an attractive stand. It would make me stop and take notice. " I see".

Can never find a pair around here when I need them. Maybe I need to buy the jar!

And are those CarolG's glasses, reigning on top!?One time in Paris I broke my glasses so I had a lovely encounter with a very nice someone who helped me in an eyeglass shop...

I live in Seattle and I have LOTS of sunglasses - people who visit my house ask if I've cornered the market! I use them for costumes and since I get them in thrift shops I can't pass up a good pair.

It certainly makes for a very eclectic display Genie.

I wouldn't be able to make a decision. Sometimes, I think its best to not have such a wide variety to choose from, it would give me a headache trying to decide on which pair. HA

HINT - choose the ones with which you can see.

Those red ones will get a good laugh at work.

Those round glasses at the top have "Genie" written all over them.

No contest—the red ones, for sure! (And I love this shot.)

Oooooo fabulous! And you're right.. i'd be paralyzed by choice for sure. :)

Sketchbook, I though that they looked like Carol's when I took the shot...

I would select first the red ones, the smaller yellow ones in front, and then the citron vert (oh la la) and the turquoise ones for a spare... Can you tell that I am obsessive? Let's get the jar and we'll share!

Sillygirl, you and I would make quite a pair... I'll bring my shoe collection also!

Bises,
Genie

When I saw this photo I knew at once that it was taken at the Galerie Vivienne. I have taken picture of this window several times ;-)

Oh Genie - I might even have more shoes than you do - another obsession!

The French have an incredible knack for display. I think it's encoded in their genes.

I'd love a pair for every day of the week!
