Le Square Trousseau - l'enfant

Must be a French girl...

rides scooter like a pro,
stylish dress for play,
bow in hair (it is there),
shoes 'coordinate' with dress.....

Oui, bien sûr!

How cute! I love her awkward leg angle. Very tentative.

No doubt, she´s a (cute little) French girl!

Yes; she definitely has the charm and co-ordination of a young French lady.

I love her "trottinette"!

Hello Genie:
You will think us ridiculous, but how we should love to have a scooter such as this one. We trust that such thoughts are not the prelude to entering a second childhood - not quite ready for that yet!!

She's adorable and I LOVE her shoes. She will be quite a charmer when she grows up.

I love to people watch. I just pretended to be sitting on a bench, embracing all that is Paris, when this lovely little girl comes scooting by. Of course now I have to watch her and make sure mom is nearby!!!Just the mother in me LOL. Thanks and I hope you have a wonderful week!!! Lisa

Yes, I'd say she must be a French girl. Even French children have style! Tres chic! :)

The picture is good, of course, but it is the text that made me laugh... Well done, Genie !

Hi Genie: Haven't "seen" you in a long time. Hope your summer is going well. And yes, what a French outfit: love those shoes!
Are you going to Paris any time soon? We go in about three weeks; counting the days!

Lisa, you will find it interesting that on a Sunday morning there were more fathers in this park with children than mothers. They were doing quite well and I could tell that this is a regular dad-Sunday routine.

Libbie, you bet... sending you an email.

Malyss, thanks for reminding me of the French word trottinette!

Jane and Lance, you need not worry about age when riding a scooter in Paris. I have seen riders of all ages, from age 2 to 82!

Bises,
Genie

What a 'cutie-pie'! Her posture betrays her tentativeness -- great capture. I don't think I ever saw a three-wheeled scooter before -- leave it to the French.
