Parc de Monceau - Carrousel Jules Verne

As dawn gives way to the bright spring sky,
the animals of the carrousel whispered to be set free

Some, however, want to stay where they are because they are warm and cozy just where they are.

Love that you did this in b&w—I'm sure it's a whole different story in movement and color, but I really like it like this.

They need to speak more loudly if they want to get out.

Have you ever ridden the carousel? I did in Honfleur after watching a man just enjoy himself on the carrousel.

Longing for the sounds of laughter.

Definitely an air of mystery and mischief here. It reminds me of a line from a Dylan song, "There is something happening here and you don't know what it is, do you, Mr. Jones."

Reminds me of when the circus closes for the night. Sad and lonely. :)

J'aime beaucoup cette photo, Genie, presque en ombres chinoises !
Sait-on jamais peut-être que pendant la nuit le carrousel se promène dans le Parc et revient se positionner dès l'aurore...

A view of the carrousel not often seen Genie, i didn't realize they were 'tucked up' at night! J'adore your image a few post back of the Jardin du Luxembourg, such lovely memories here.

This looks like the kind of photo that could start a story going in your mind! Whispered to be set free. Yes, indeed!
