Église de la Madeleine

The sounds of stringed instruments and finely-tuned voices
regularly fill this cavernous Neo-Classical church.

The concerts bring in visitors and Parisians alike to Église de la Madeleine

bon dimanche

Absolutely stunning church! I really love the angle of this photo, very regal.

We've seen a few concerts at la Madeleine, but I think the best we ever attended was at Sainte Chappelle!

Aah, those beautiful soaring spaces—and even more spectacular when they're filled with music, n'est-ce pas? Bon dimanche, Genie!

One of my friends recommended that church, but we just ran out of time. Now I'm rethinking -- maybe we should have made the time!

The church is a bit too pompous to my taste. But well, a very good example of neo-classicism.
