Palais Garnier - luminaires

The gift shop of Palais Garnier has a new version of the graceful figures and handmade lamps I saw a year ago.  You will be amazed when I tell you how much they cost.

(We did not buy one)

What a graceful beauty she is Genie. Simply breathtaking!
Would this be one of those... If you have to ask the price you cannot afford it?
Thank you so much for sharing this exquisite lamp.
fondly, Penny

Cost is one thing. then, how to carry it? (by plane especially)and it also needs a big house!

This is beautiful indeed. Just to look at is great too, there is no need to buy all.

they make a beautiful shot.. that s for sure.... I do not care what they cost, Genie
Tell you a secret.... we have beautiful lamps sitting in AL (not like these of course, but still beautiful) and over the years I have been unable to figure out how to get them over here....we decide every year again to give it a try to pack but never do ...

That's such a gorgeous shot! I took a photo of those lamps when I saw them two years ago as well. They're so stunning. Worth the price I'm sure.

Louise, the ones I took photos of a few years ago were ballerinas but very similar, obviously the same artist.

To all, these are truly divine and beautifully (hand)made. The prices range from 460€ to 1.725€. This one would have cost 805€ - yikes! I will post a little gathering of these ladies on another day.

Bises,
Genie

M said it quite aptly!! So, so lovely and graceful. I'm curious how this image appears in B & W -- seems tailor-made for a conversion--

Thanks for the photo - certainly beautiful and unique, but at that price, I'll look but not touch!
