Le Petit Garçon

While the other children ran through the park
or zipped around on scooters,
this little boy played happily alone.

Darling little boy. Love the way he is dressed. Casual, yet perfectly coordinated. Parisian children are always fun to watch. He looks like he might be playing with the shadow of the playset. Great shot, Genie. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

What an adorable little one! Brings thoughts of my four when they were little and happy to play alone! Great post as always, Genie! Enjoy, mon amie!

He seems to have a wonderful imagination. What will he grow up to do, I wonder.

Some children are happy to have a quiet moment to themselves.. I just had the 'happy birthday' song sung to me by my two year old 'great nephew', it made my day, adorable!!Beautiful picture Genie.

He is adorable! I love the way he is reaching out to some invisible source of entertainment and almost looks like he is ready to pounce. His concentration is almost as superb as his fashion flare! Fantastic candid portrait!

A creative mind at work - dancing with his shadow. "We're gonna rumble tonight, we're gonna have us a ball-l-l-l!"

he's in his own world, no better place to be happy..

Probably a self-sufficient only child, used to amusing himself. Tellement mignon, Genie!

And such a little cutie! I have to admire the little guys that go off an do their own thing. Leaders not followers:)

i love this cutie : so concentrating on something the others can't see. it brings me back years ago. i often photograph shadows of my dolls in the "bridge-filet" of the square trousseau.

He's a cute little guy! Who knows what caught his attention, but he's definitely looking at something. Or else trying to get his balance on little toddler legs!

Ah, to be at an age where I could play with shadows. I think I have a new plan for tomorrow. Thanks, Genie!
