Girl talk

These two petites filles were captured having a chat
while the boys were chasing each other in Jardins du Trocadero...
all in the shadow of la Tour Eiffel.

Typique: Les filles discutent (et sérieusement). Les garçons courrent dans le jardin! ;-) Très mignon. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Don't they do the same in Mobile? I wonder.

You caught a wonderful moment here Genie. It does make you wonder what they are nattering about.

They seem to have a very serious conversation. Are they talking about la mode, to which pâtisserie they will go afterwards or already about boys?

I love that girls start communicating at such an early age, would be such fun to know what they are discussing so intently, love this photo Genie it says so, so much!

They have a serious talk, you captured them on the right moment, very good. Boys don't talk at that age I think, they have to run around to get lost of their energy.

Aww, it reminds me of Eve and her new Paris BFF Chloe when they met in that little playground. They still right each other! Great capture!

This picture points out one of the glaring faults of the French. Do you see how close they are? They will do the same for the rest of their lives.

Such beautiful children. I think the little one with her back to us is showing the other that she lost a tooth...

Can you not just imagine them 10 years later??
This shot is so perfect that I wish that someone who knows them would see this picture and contact you.

Interesting body language. Everything is so serious at that age.

Looks like a very important conversation.

I'd fall over overhearing them, I bet. Youth is wasted on the young? Maybe not.

Genie - if you ever decide to paint - this photo would be a perfect painting! I love the way Paris looks to you!

That is so cute. In those postures, they have to be little girls. Are there secret classes for little girls?

Beautiful! The one with her back facing reminds me of Isabella. I can just picture her doing exactly that...Talking! LOL

This is precious, in the very best sense of the word! And universal in its essence, in spite of being taken in the shadow of the Eiffel tower.

I think that Pet posed an interesting question. Could this just be any two little girls, even in Mobile, Alabama, USA? Well, yes. The fact is that children will be children and they were in a group playing that April day just as they might anywhere else in the world. "In the shadow of la Tour Eiffel" was of no matter to them at all.

Perhaps Janey was correct in suggesting that the one with her back to us was pointing out the space where a baby tooth had been previously.

Wouldn't you love to hear their conversation en français. I was not close enough to listen in, but close enough to verify their French language.

I do not know about "secret classes for girls" but these two needed no lessons.

Children at play without a care in the world... the way it should be.

Bises,
Genie

Oh, Fábio, I think that they may talk about boys, but probably not these two on this day... Just give them a few years!

The little girl on the left's stance is soooo French, as is her classic little face.

"So, how do you like the color of my new lipstick?" This is an absolutely precious image!!! B & W rules--

I like Janey's scenario too—and the fact that they have no problem with a lack of personal space. Great shot, Genie!
