La Fête de la Musique

Last year we were all there for the summer solstice, listening to a jazz quartet, enjoying the cool breeze of the evening on the café terrace for my last night in Paris.

Wish I was there today.

Enjoy, my French friends, as I am there in spirit.

Love jazz, love this face. I hope you do something wonderful on this very long day of light, even if you're not in the city of lights.

It's only supposed to be for the one night, but sometimes they just go for the entire week. I hope that's true this year!

I can just visualize you and your girl friends at this place, swooning as this hottie sang torch songs.

Well, mes amis, I think that Jack just summed it up... Somehow, it was just not the same tonight. It is hot here, the wine was good, the music blasting through an iPod, no café chairs, and Mr. Hottie here was probably crooning in Paris somewhere...

Tant pis pour moi... (just kidding - I have my own and there wasn't any smoke)
