Fenêtre dans le Marais

2011 April Day 3 DSC_0294

Window in the Marais

Just a simple window with geraniums askew,
but the iron railing and alluring curtains
contribute to the mystery that is Paris.

A classic image of Paris Genie. Red Geraniums in a window box. Perfect.

Yes it is simple... but it's also attractive to the eye.

I love windows, and here especially, the beauty comes from simplicity.

I wish we had windows like that here, but they would be prohibitively expensive.

Thank you for your kind comments. I love the windows of Paris and have photographed them in a wide range of style and attire. This one is very tidy, but lacks the allure of a 19th century building or the shabby chic of another section of the Marais. There is something of interest in most of the windows of Paris and it pleases me that you agreed with this view.

Bises,
Genie
