Église Saint-Vincent-de-Paul
This long nave aisle on the Gospel side of the church
has a bright polish on the marble floors.
One walks softly as all sounds are amplified.
I can hear the clicking of heels still.
bon dimanche

Stunning, Genie. You make me wish i was there.
Genie you did a great job with capturing the huge size of the pillars. I felt so small when I viewed your photo.
Such imposing grandeur Genie. I suspect it would be easy to imagine footsteps in here even without a soul inside. Perhaps it is the souls making them.
These columns are so massive!
God bless you!

... Très impressionnantes... ces colonnes.
gros bisous
Oooh I love this! Theres something about Halls lined with columns that just appeals to me. I'm also hugely fond of pathways lined with big trees too though, I think Ijust like the grandeur and the way it draws the eye in. Great shot!
Love the sound of heels clicking on a marble floor, especially if it's the only sound in an otherwise hushed environment. Marvelous image Genie, you've really captured the immensity of the pillars.
I'd hate to be here if there was an Irish clog dancing demonstration. Ouch!
Love this photo. Bon dimanche !
My thought as I scrolled down to reveal the entire photo: Oh, wow! The light and shadow here are SO beautiful, Genie.
Magnificent!
Beautiful shot, Genie!
Wonderful. Those floors are sure shiny.
Love the columns and the shiny floor. Hope you'll play along with my Dreaming of France meme on Monday. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme
Everything here looks clean and polished and first class . . . and golden!
Impressionnant ces colonnes, on se dirait dans un temple Egyptien.
love this perspective
Genie, bravo pour votre talent de photographe. Vous savez embellir les choses.
Car il faut bien convenir que cette église est loin d'être aussi belle.
Lovely pictures :) some good pointers for my next visit!
