Sur le quai de la Seine

Quai du Louvre

It would appear to be an after-work party with friends.
Just come as you are...
...and bring une baguette et du fromage

(Note the Longchamp bag and man-scarf
on the fellow walking up to the group)

Des oranges et des fraises

Oranges and strawberries

This fruit was as delicious as it looked.  The strawberries had that just-picked look and taste, but the oranges, oh my!  They were an explosion of a perfect mix of sweet and tart in your mouth.

We had a group of friends in for an early evening at our favorite apartment on St. Roch.  We devoured all the fruit as well as the radishes, baguettes, saucisson sec....

Eat well this week!

La Seine - un aire de pique-nique

La Seine
un aire de pique-nique

Having a picnic with friends along the Seine...
what could be any better?

I am honored to be invited to join the City Daily Photo Blogs, and with my acceptance, to participate in the first day of each month with "theme day."  November's theme is "The Water's Edge" and here is the link to visit other cities around the world.

Un apéritif à Paris

What a wonderful time we had... a casual party, in Paris!

From left on front row: Julie of Sydney-Eye; Marie (M); Aude of Paris-ci Paris-la; Back row: Peter of Peter's Paris; Cynthia of Parisian Adventures; moi; Mary Ann of Classic.Casual.Home; she-who-must-not-be named, our concierge; Eric Tenin of ParisDailyPhoto.

I cannot imagine anything better than getting together with friends in a chic Paris apartment. It seemed like playing make-believe at the time.
