Square Boucicaut
le carrousel
Almost hidden in the shadow of Le Bon Marché,
sits this vintage carousel.
Alas, it was too early in the morning for little passengers,
but by the afternoon it will be full.

I was ready to mention the lack of children, then I read your comment.

Such a cheery carousel. It brings a smile and fond memories to my heart.
it appears to resting, waiting for the little hands and feet to return.
I love the way it seems to be peeking out through the foliage. Clara would love this pink delight!
when Mary and I walked past there, and snapped a few shots, there was a Grandmere sitting watching her petite fille riding 'round ...
With cars to ride in instead of animals - much better for smaller riders.
Makes me smile! I'd like a carousel ride now!
it's almost a state of mind, the enchanted world of a happy childhood...
I loved carousels as a child and I still do! What fun memories and a beautiful capture, Genie! Hope you're enjoying a lovely week!

Knowing how much you like carousels, this must have made you happy.
That's sweet.
For myself, I like the carrousels with horses that go up and down—but I still love this pretty pink one!
Thanks for this glimpse into my future! I'll be staying very near here- now I'll be thinking of you whenever I see this carrousel.
