A sunny spring day will find many Parisians
sitting along the bank of Canal Saint Martin.
Working with pen and ink,
she scarcely noticed the passersby
or the photographer.

One can never discount the rain in Paris. We have seen plenty today, but it did not scare us and we explored Provins, outside of Paris. It was an easy train ride of just over an hour. We were the only ones in the early morning and the rain did not start until 11:00am or so.
A much as I love being IN Paris, there is much to see in a day trip out of Paris.
Tonight we met with blog friends at Bourgogne on Rue Mouffetard in the 5eme. Isabelle and I went to Palais Garnier for some rainy night shots and then home.
Tomorrow we meet Peter for a day of exploring...
