La Fourmi Ailée - salon de thé

La Fourmi Ailée
(the winged ant)

This is a quaint little salon de thé almost in the shadow of Notre Dame.  I have never been inside but have photographed the young people from the school next door leaning on the building as they took a smoking break.  The front of this charming salon de thé is pastel tiles which appear to be from Monet's palette.

How lovely Genie!
Sometimes - only a cup of tea hits the spot - even in Paris!!
I took a photo of one tea salon - I'll find it and post it on my blog!!
If my memory is right it's close to Bon Marche!

Hope you're having a good week!

I will have a cuppa from the lovely blue pot! Is there a patisserie nearby for a little snack to go with the thé?

I was inside this place a few years ago—very comfy and inviting as I recall, with an interesting menu.

Rita, I was taken with the teapots and the lettering right away.

Marie, oh yes, Eric Kayser is just a block or two away!

Merci, Shell. The façade with its tile work is certainly eye-catching. Thank you for remembering.

Joe, coming right up!

Shane, oh please let me know if you can find the name. I will be back there soon.

Vreni, it is nice to know that you and I have walked these streets together and I hope that we get a chance to do so again.

Bises,
Genie
