Pensive? Nostalgique?

Printemps - premier étage

As this statue perched outside on the second floor
peers in at the grand staircase,
do you think that she must be a bit wistful
to have spent the past 100 years
only looking in at the fashions of Printemps?

must be a French girl

She seems deep in thought.

Wistful but confident Genie. I think she could hold her own in any situation. I think she is saying "It's not what you wear but how you wear it" n'est pas?

Hello Genie:

And would that we could know all that she has observed [and thought] over the past 100 years!!

Not that she's not quite fashionable herself, of course.

Mais oui! And she does make you think of spring with her floral adornments

Oh, the changes she has seen in fashion as hers as stayed the same!

I think she looks lovely—but she might be wanting to update her outfit, peut-être.

Very wistful. She's lovely, certainly, but nostalgic i'm sure. :)

Too funny!

I think she is mischievous. She is waiting for a pompous person to walk below her and then she is going to drop something on his head.
