A courtyard
Locked away from the peering eyes on the street is this charming courtyard. We stayed for two weeks with a view of the rooftops. Our spacious apartment was on the fifth and sixth floors, beautifully furnished with a delightful cross-breeze in the heat of the summer. We did not gain an ounce or a gram with the daily climbing of steps.
We even enjoyed the pleasure of a delightful resident cat who took the stairs more easily than we did and who had full run of the courtyard with another friend.

Les cours ne manquent pas dans cette rue et certaines ont de bien jolis noms. Celle-ci est protégée par une barrière et on aperçoit le tuyau d'eau dont l'usage explique la bonne santé des plantes. Une fée doit veiller sur ces lieux.
Jolie photo !
Bonne semaine!

The courtyards of Paris are so beautiful.
How pretty, and very, very walkable!

Lovely, lush and green. I would like to sit in this quiet place and sip my morning café au lait and peruse my map of Paris as we discuss where to roam ...
You're killin' me, Genie! :~} Though I still thank you for sharing this wonderfully evocative visual memory.
I don't think I would have wanted to come home. It's beautiful!
You stayed here? You were very lucky. But, you already know that!
