Passage Jouffroy VIII

2011 0418 DSC_0331

Passage Jouffroy

Just adjacent to the Café Grevin (yesterday's post),
is one of the entrances to Passage Jouffroy.

Almost two centuries old, the iron and glass ceilings remain.
There are a few shops that have not changed over the years,
but you will note the candy shop sign which I have seen all over Europe.

The lamps that line both sides of the passage are my favorite detail.

bon weekend

After leaving Musée Grevin, Passage Jouffroy was a pleasant surprise.

A moment in the city, I love this kind of picture, very well captured!

There's a shop of doll houses there that I love very much! This passage is one of my favorite places in Paris.

What a great place to explore! Your B&W capture is wonderfully rich in details.

I should like to be right there, right now. What a great photo -- so much atmosphere!

Nice one, Genie, and a good one to show in black and white. You placed the man's purposeful strides at the right spot.

I think we've both been here and I was wondering about the passage. Merci!
