Café-Bistrot
Rue Mouffetard
On this chilly day there were no customers outside.
You can tell from the windows, that they were doing a great business inside.
Do you just love the writing on the blackboard?
It is beautifully French.

I do love it indeed, Genie! Another delightful post, fun capture for the day! Hope it warms up soon! Enjoy your weekend!

I do believe I know this bistrot. We used to stay down the hill at the Hôtel des Grandes Ecoles. Fascinating neighborhood.
Those prices are rather high for a local bistrot.
If I were a duck I'd make sure to keep my distance... :)
God bless you!

I love the peek at the people within. Very charming!
I'll have the confit de canard thanks Genie ... what an extensive menu!
"All Things French"
I don't know what most of the things on that menu are, but I bet they're all delicious! (I just assume everything French is...)
I'm crazy about the French black boards and the penmanship. I've tried to copy it with no luck.
Stay warm and have a lovely weekend Genie. It’s nice to be able to get out and visit my friends again.

Well, it is Saturday morning and I am writing this while enjoying by morning coffee. How very blessed I am to have you provide the lovely atmosphere of a French cafe :)
Thanks,
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
I used to hate writing on the blackboard. My writing would go from large to small and be on a 45 degree decline by the end lol.
If you have any suggestions for me, I am traveling to France in September and am featuring a giveaway where the advice I want to take most wins the giveaway. This month it is an art illustration of French wine.

Avec ce temps gris et froid qui ralentit l'arrivée du printemps, je prendrais bien une bonne choucroute !
L'embarras du choix ici !...
Méfiance toutefois, je dirais lorsqu'il y a trop de propositions !...
Gros bisous
I agree. How can handwriting be French? But it is. I think I would brave the outdoor seating right next to the building for one of these delicious meals.
Such a yummy menu!
A warm, cozy cafe with a fabulous menu. :) Happy sigh...
I would love to sit there in any season.
French writing is so different from ours. Of course, in a few more years, there will be no script writing in the USA.
It is special, isn't it? And instantly recognizable. And what I wouldn't give for some gratin dauphinois right now!
A charming spot!!!
More chairs... This would have also been a good theme day photo. The chairs are so Paris!
egg with mayonnaise? non .... and i didnt know 'brunch' was french!
Brunch is my favourite meal, especially in Paris!
