Guerlain - la vitrine

This simple window in the Marais has it all:

La Tour Eiffel
A fragrance with a sexy name
A salute to the very fashionable Parisians
and....

A reflection!

Guerlain
10, rue des Francs-Bourgeois
75004, Paris

Very interesting, Genie!

The scene reminds me of certain Moulin Rouge posters by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

Hi Genie, I was in Harrods the other week and in the pefume department . One of the ladies that stepped forward and sprayed me was working for this company .. They gave me a beautiful material square with the little black dress on too.

Nice one.. I used to pass by the Guerlain shop on Place Vendome/Rue de Castiglione; not sure if it's still there. Those were the days when you could only guy Guerlain at Guerlain. I love L'Heure Bleue and the bottle you show looks like HB's bottle.

Love the name (and the whole display, of course)! I only—and always—wear YSL's Paris, but if I ever crave a change . . .

What is quite funny about this window and the marketing is the music... These Boots Were Made for Walking" Just click on the name under the photo to see a short (15 second) video. I would have selected something more French!

Bibi, there are three stores in Paris now. One on Champs-Elysées, one on Rue Tronchet (9th), and this one. I did read that the original was on Rue de Rivoli in 1828.

V, you made me laught outloud!

Rita, send me an email, svp.

Grace, well if you can figure that out let me know!

'Tsuki, je sais pas, mais je le crois.

Anne, I would love to have another stroll through Harrods!

Have a wonderful weekend, all!

Bises,
Genie
