Galerie Véro-Dodat -- Louboutin!

The large windows of Louboutin in Galerie Véro-Dodat provided ample opportunity to check out many new styles of this exclusive brand.  The French luxury shoemaker Christian Louboutin opened at this location his first ever men's boutique in the fall of 2011.

I will bring you another view of this 19th century passage which has been gorgeously restored next week.

Interestingly, I did not check out either the size or the price of these pumps!

Hard for me to believe that I actually wore heels that high once upon a time!!! In spite of their beauty, I must have been crazy!!! Wonderful capture and fun memories, Genie! Enjoy your weekend!

Nothing like a bit of heal with pizzaz, and a little black dress to accompany it............. and a trim and taught physique to match.........if only I could turn back time!
Bon weekend

A bit too high for me.

Looking forward to your Galerie pics. We have a few similar beauties (galeries) in Brussels.
(By the way, so sad bc of the helicopter crash in Mobile bay. We knew one of the young men. How awful. Can not stop thinking about his family whom we know very well).

Oh yes beautiful shoes and yes I wore them that high, once very long time ago.

Hmm, not sure I could walk around with the word 'sex' on my shoes. Especially paying that much for the privilege!

It's amazing what women will wear. I'm not complaining... just amazed.

Ah, I love shoes, I don't even have to walk in them, just to look at is enough.

Shoes branded with "Paris" are quite something new for me... That must make them even more expensive! :)
God bless you!

Cesar, you would be amazed and that does not even cover what they add because the soles are bright red!

I"m not surprised you didn't check! You and I are just lucky to get around in Paris with shoes that don't scream "TOURIST WITH BAD KNEES!"

They're nice enough, I guess, but I prefer a shorter heel.

Not exactly subtle though, are they? :~}
Looking forward to more on the passage, Genie.

All I can say is "OUCH". I couldn't wear pointy toe shoes back in the day let alone now. But, I do have great admiration for women who do though and aren't crippled because of it! LOL

I love his acrylic shoes with their black lace design...

Marie, I think that I have a shot of those shoes. I just love the artistry in the designs... That, and the red soles.

The ottoman in the background was made of small seed beads in an exquisite pattern. These shoes are priced beyond my range and I prefer to admire them as works of art.

Genie

Sex and the City ;-) I love to watch high heels, but I prefer to wear ballerinas...

I'm speechless.... I can't quite imagine who would spend so much to walk around with Sex written on their shoes! ( A T-shirt logo would be cheaper if you must.) I must be getting old.
