Love it-- highly recommend you do not drive it around Paris, though, or "zoom-zoom" could turn into "crash-badaboum." == Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
I wish I could have one of these waiting for you in Paris with a giant bow on it and a sign that says, " Joyeux Anniversaire Chère Genie! Have a wonderful time zoom-zooming on the Metro, buses and on foot through your beloved Paris! Gros bisous!
Yep, order me one, too! Oh, and a helmet to match! Fun shot for the day, Genie! Hope you have a wonderful weekend with lots of fun and laughter, mon amie!
Well, Starman, the weather today in Paris is just perfect. In the early afternoon even the cold-natured Parisians were throwing off sweaters.
I rode the RER-B in to Paris from CDG airport and then walked to my hotel. When I popped up at the street level the first time, I was facing Notre Dame and the Seine - Be still my beating heart! I took photos all the way to the hotel as "you can never create this perfect moment" again.
I met the talented Winterludes and her lovely daughter this afternoon and will post about that when I return. We celebrated our birthdays with some wonderful tea (and gateau) for her daughter.
Tomorrow early I will be at Marche Maubert with my camera and photos (to give to my subjects) again. Peter and I are meeting up to explore after that. I will update and always read the comments daily.

I saw a pink Vespa in a shop window in Paris once and thought it was the cutest thing ever!
Very girly! We call them "Vespa" here in south, which means "bee"in italian.

My daughter would love that! I actually think I saw a pink scooter when I was in Paris a few years ago.

p.s.
sorry for late commenting, I'm in Germany at the moment for a little 'wallpaper-change' :)
Very cute! But, who can take you seriously on Pepto-Bismol pink scooter?
I'm with Shell. But if we can't all have one, I'd love to see you zoom-zooming around Paris on one of these cute scoots!
This reminds me of the movie "Roman Holiday", though that was a Black & white movie.
It's getting too cold for scooters.

Oh I love it. Where can I get one?
A pink scooter for you? NO!!! Yours would be red. (Have fun in Paris.)
hee hee...
«Louis» is sending the link for this post to Chuck Pefley in Seattle, a.k.a. Signor Vespa.
I would ride around on that one.
Definitely mine, too, unless I can find an acid green one.
WANT.
Et bon anniversaire à toi! Sorry I am late with my greeting, but a lot has been going on.
I just love knowing that you are in Paris at this very minute soaking up all the sites with thine own eyes and camera!
