In the window of Galeries Lafayette, the display of kitchen utensils had this special grater. I wish that I had bought a few of them for gifts and one for my home. It would certainly give one something to think about while grating carrots for dinner.Galeries Lafayette

Belle journée,
Pierre
OMG! so cool.
I want one ♥
Une autre Tour Eiffel! Interresant. Et pratique. Bons cadeaux pour des amis, vraiment. Votre oeil, et appareil-photo, trouvent de telles images merveilleuses.
That's brilliant Genie, haha!! you could dream away about being Paris in the Spring while, for me here in Perth anyway, it's raining and cold outside!! I want one!!
Best wishes
Grace
It's always good te be here on your Paris suite! An American women in Paris, in Europe, with a perfect vieuw on details an d a lot of wishes in he heart, that's what I see Genie, thanks for that!
Have a nice weekend
Henk
Haven't seen this yet must go and have a peek
I´ve seen these graters too, didn´t buy one neither.
This is great, doing the cooking and dream away in Paris. Love to have one.
I'm SO lucky ~ a beautiful girlfriend sent me one of these after a Paris trip! I feel very special whenever I grate a little parmesan over something.
I want one! This is so much better than the plastic souvenir ones from the tower, or the plastic gondolas in Venice!
What a brilliant idea for a souvenir or gift for a friend Genie. I would have to keep at least one for myself however.

beautiful capture of a gadget many of us would love to have in our kitchens...though I'm not certain how practical a kitchen tool the tower-grater would be.
A "grate" souvenir! :~} Saw these in a shop window on the Ile St. Louis. If the shop hadn't been closed and I hadn't been leaving that day . . . Oh well. Next time, n'est-ce pas?
Oh, but this could be dangerous ... you could be day dreaming of Paris so much that you grate through the cheese all the way to your fingers ... Lovely, shiny, unique ET.
Voilà une Tour Eiffel originale et qui laisse des traces si nos doigts glissent dessus... Attention à ne pas nous laisser distraire!
You've found the perfect sourvenir
Très original, je n'en avais encore jamais vu comme celle-ci!
They are $ 23.99 at Amazon.com
You make me discover something! :)
What a great (grate) idea, Genie, and wouldn't you know you could find it at Amazon!!!! Perfect! Enjoy your weekend, my friend!

C'est superbe et quel coup d'oeil !
Bravo !!!
A little 'kitchy', but I like it.
My girlfriend lives in NY and found one of these there and gave it to me for Christmas!!! I just love it!!
Just love that!!
Terrifically fun and funny. I think I'd be shredding my fingers on this one.
Now you have me pining for one for my collection! Love this and you know if I'd seen one I'd have stuffed it in my little suitcase.

I definitely would have purchased one had I seen it in Paris... I'll have to make do with an amazon purhcase...thanks Nadege. I wonder how airport security would feel about such an item in carry-on???
Ohhhh...I want one!!!
This is ACTUALLY really cool!
Would make fantastic presents.
Love your blog!

I have so enjoyed these comments and some new friends, too! I really think that this would be dangerous for me in the kitchen but would love to have it propped for "show" and a reminder of a place I love...
Merci, and have a wonderful week, all! (I am catching up) Bises, G
Very clever, if I find one this week, I will send it to you!
I use a robot for grating carrots but this tool is so much fun I wouldn't mind having one in my kitchen :-)
