In the window of the artists who hand-paint the bone china, we saw this glove (gant) and purple glasses. The artisan-owner must have been out to déjeuner.
Wish that we had seen her at work.

Peut-être que cet artisan était parti à un rendez-vous. Il a laissé ses gants et outils pour que, si une petite Américaine passait par là, elle pourrait continuer son travail... Qu'en penses-tu?
Those kinds of glasses are very famous in France, because of the advertising made by Adriana Karembeu!:) i like the idea of a glove left behind...I can imagine a lot of stories behind!

Where else would you find such material but Paris?
Enjoy your day Genie! Rx
Those glasses are a work of art! Amazing to find such well-staged items ... Ah, but it is Paris... Delightful photo, Genie. P minus 5 :-)
What a charming little still-life—one that you had the "eye" to see, and then share with us. Thanks, Genie!
I am guessing this person was an artisanne. ;)
I like the details on the glasses. Cute!
it looks like the talbe glasses and glove have been put there as a gift for the photographers who happen to come by
Gorgeous! I'm always in awe of the painters of china/porcelain. In this case, I'm also in awe of her glasses. :) Just a few more days!
Nice capture. It's the little things that are most interesting and that we often overlook.
Now that's a find! I can't imagine doing any fine painting with that big glove on. Maybe it's for handling the fired pieces? Love the cute glasses!

Les heures de travail ont transpiré sur ce fameux... L'artiste s'en est allé pour un moment de repos...
Très jolie photo... bisous
Even the artists gloves and glasses are artistic!!!
I love those glasses - they look so French, somehow.
Nice combination of glove and glasses, cool!
God bless you!

It looks like you arranged this for a photo, amazing to see this.
A picture with a story! :) Thanks for coming over for a cup of tea and how exciting that you melt glass!!!!
xx
It is just a simple table, a glove and a pair of glasses, but somehow they create a very photogenic scene when seen through your capable eyes.
This would make a nice subject for a painting.
My! those glasses are quite fancy and in purple!!
You can make a point of returning during this trip.
That is a wonderful picture. The frame of the glasses tells that the owner is an artist.
Thank you for the visit and the nice comment.
You have a great eye~loving all your photos!
