The gift shop at Palais Garnier is one of my favorite stops, 

for taking photos, for people-watching, and for dreaming of sugar-plums.

These graceful ballerinas dance under the Christmas tree of Palais Garnier's gift shop.  

What a view of the icy street below.

These handcrafted papier-mâché dolls are illuminated with the flick of a switch.

Palais Garnier is one of my favorite places in Paris,

 for the architecture, the music, the ballets and operas, the history, and...

the Phantom.
