La Tour d'Argent
Although I have not dined at La Tour d'Argent
and would love to explore their wine list
one can enjoy the aesthetics of the wrought iron lamp posts
and the Guimard awning over the entrance door.

You need a pile of gold to eat at the silver tower, no?
Beautiful photo!
Lovely lamps!
So beautiful!
Not at all you can now eat the same bread and pastries at their new Boulanger de la Tour just across the street. Their tarte citron was #3 in figaro's estimation.
I really like the subtle detailing of the lamps...they look like any other, but are unique if we look closely :)
Hello Genie, it's been a long time since we crossed paths. I hope life is treating you well.
These lamps are magnificent. I love the wrought iron ones sees throughout France. Bisous, Elizabeth
Have not been on blogs lately because of our future move and also because, as a French citizen, I received so much paperwork from France for voting. I am so pleased that Marine LePen did not win as I was worried for a while, but she did copy a lot from Donald Trump – and luckily 82% of French people dislike Trump tremendously, so that did not help her! When I get homesick for my hometown of Paris I know I can come to your blog and look at your posts and see beautiful photos of my great city – I am never disappointed.
We miss your blog entries. Hope all is well.
Thank you all for your encouragement. I am doing well, and it is good to know that I have been missed over these months.
Warmest regards,
Genie
