Pont d'Arcole
Walking in Paris at night
after most of the crowds are gone is a favorite of mine.
Each of the 37 bridges over the Seine
is different and I am sad to report that
I could probably name less than half of them.
One advantage of the winter months
is that the night starts much earlier.

Well done ! The light is perfect.

Breathtaking! The lights, the reflection, the ripples of motion in the river ... Absolutement parfait!!!!
Beautiful. I love walking at night, too. I like seeing Tour St. Jacques in the background...nice lighting!
I say forget the names, just enjoy the views and the stroll in the darkness.
I love your photo—and your glass-half-full attitude toward winter!
Fabulous, Genie. Your nighttime stroll has paid off in big benefits for your viewers.
Oh, that is a gorgeous shot, Genie!
Christina, I only dream of living in Paris, but I do visit two or three times a year.
Mr. Bird, you are right, but with a blog post, I want you to know exactly the bridge. (a little type-A)
Jeanie, from the side it does look St. Jacques, but that is Notre Dame looking south across the bridge.
Bises,

The city of lights at its best Genie.
How could we ever tire of this!
