Pont d'Arcole - la nuit

Pont d'Arcole

Walking in Paris at night
after most of the crowds are gone is a favorite of mine.
Each of the 37 bridges over the Seine
is different and I am sad to report that
I could probably name less than half of them.

One advantage of the winter months
is that the night starts much earlier.

Monsieur?

Pont d'Arcole

Man on the bridge with an umbrella, uh...

Charming man on the bridge in the rain with an umbrella...

...nothing more to say

Quai aux Fleurs - Autolib

There has been much written in the press (and blogs) since Autolibs appeared in Paris on December 1, 2011.  I saw my first of these in January on the way to a party with friends.

The concept is fascinating:
You jump in the car, ride to another location, and walk away.
I hope that they do not lose any of them!

L'heure bleue

As I was waiting (somewhat) patiently for the full moon,
I looked over my shoulder to find these shades of pinks, purples and blues.

My Paris is always full of surprises and treasures.
I know... she is not just mine, but alone this evening it felt like she was all mine.
