la cocotte - objets gourmands

*la cocotte*

How appropriate that a street of restaurants and bistrots
would also display a boutique of "objets gourmands."

In looking for the translation of "la cocotte" I found:
darling, honey, love

Based on the website for *la cocotte* the word "hen" seems appropriate.

bon weekend

"cocotte" means "little hen",the word comes from "coq" (cock, rooster), which can be a lovely way to call a girlfriend or a little girl. But here , as the shop sells things for cooking, I think there's a pun with "cocotte minute" , which is the french name for "pressure cooker".

I like that word! It's charming -- and so is the shop window! Another lovely find!
