Have to wonder what it looked like before they pruned! Starman -- pretty sure it started in Italy with the publication of a teen romance novel in which the young lovers did this (on one of the bridges in Rome, I think).
As much as I enjoy any view from this Paris bridge, but would love to see the sunset taken from the other end of this bridge, the one of my never-changing header.
I'm pretty sure this is the one where my lock is; not sure, because there are a couple. Doesn't matter. It reminds me of something lovely. I'm sad when they have to remove them, but I understand.

La péniche transporte aussi de la neige.
Even under snow and grey skies The Seine looks delightful. A classic image Genie.
Love the way the overcast day produces just a light dusting of color as well. Lovely photo.
bon weekend
I wonder how often they prune the bridge Genie, you can see why romantics choose this spot to demonstrate their affection, it's just so Paris oui!
Grey day - I would still like to be there.
I wonder who started the thing with the locks?
Lovely despite the grey skies.
Beautiful.

Beautiful scenery.

May you have clear skies this weekend.

Now, you can't see the Seine for the mass of locks. I supported them for a time, but after this last trip, sadly I think they have become too much.
