Definitely an air of mystery and mischief here. It reminds me of a line from a Dylan song, "There is something happening here and you don't know what it is, do you, Mr. Jones."
J'aime beaucoup cette photo, Genie, presque en ombres chinoises ! Sait-on jamais peut-être que pendant la nuit le carrousel se promène dans le Parc et revient se positionner dès l'aurore... xxx Danielle
A view of the carrousel not often seen Genie, i didn't realize they were 'tucked up' at night! J'adore your image a few post back of the Jardin du Luxembourg, such lovely memories here.

Some, however, want to stay where they are because they are warm and cozy just where they are.
there is a beautiful melancholy to this image. perfect choice to go with b&w.
A little ghostly but I love this shot!

Yes I agree melancholy, think so too
Love that you did this in b&w—I'm sure it's a whole different story in movement and color, but I really like it like this.
They need to speak more loudly if they want to get out.
Have you ever ridden the carousel? I did in Honfleur after watching a man just enjoy himself on the carrousel.
Anticipation... :)
Longing for the sounds of laughter.

Reminds me of when the circus closes for the night. Sad and lonely. :)

This looks like the kind of photo that could start a story going in your mind! Whispered to be set free. Yes, indeed!
