Beautiful portrait, Genie. I love the attitude, too. An accordionist in Paris... almost too good to be true, eh? [Please tell me he was not playing Piaf's "La Vie en Rose?!" :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
He loves playing his instrument. It's obvious. And that must have made him even more fun to listen to. Thanks for sharing this photo, Genie! I love it. :)
Marvelous portrait shot Genie, he looks like quite a character and of course I had to Google Podologie (shop in background) I had a feeling it was something to do with the feet!!
Thank you VERY MUCH for the dedication! I haven´t been to the Marché d´Aligre this time, but I will go there for sure, as it´s only a short hop from "my" apartment. Maybe I will see Monsieur l´accordéoniste...
So glad that you like my new Paris friend, and I will be looking for him again on my next trip to deliver his portrait. He was a bit of a card, a jovial sort. I guess if you are going to play on the streets of Paris, you need to be a bit outgoing.
This is yet another example of why I love Paris so... you never know what the day holds. Get up early or you might miss some of it.

Oh...I will bet listening to him was as good as dessert after your oysters!

He's wonderful! I especially like the fact that he's in black and white, so much more atmospheric. Thank you.
Wonderful, Genie! I can hear him play in my mind! Love it! What a great capture! Hope your week is off to a good start! Enjoy, mon amie!

Un petit air d'accordéon dans la rue en ville est toujours romantique et fascinant...
Jolie photo.
Gros bisous à vous.
Fantastic shot, chere Genie!
He looks happy, and no matter how cliche...I love accordion music in Paris...
I am humming along now! :)

Such a cool portrait. He loves his music! You can see that.
This seems like someone who gets joy from his music. Delightful portrait, Genie.
what a wonderful, timeless portrait.

Wonderful portrait. Looks like it could be out of a book from the 1950s.
He looks like he really loves what he's doing.
He not only looks like he enjoys having his picture taken but also loves playing his accordion. :)
Even if I weren't a huge fan of the accordion, I would love this photo! The lines are very musical!
Quel beau portrait!
What a great shot. I can hear him play.
