Ah, you can indeed! And our weather outside is frightful -- well, I'm probably just a chicken when it comes to weather these days! Beautiful capture, Genie, as always!
If this dreamy window display is, indeed, by Chanel, I am certainly glad Karl Lagerfeld is nowhere in sight. He might have ruined it all! [Didn't they have a whole window full of miniature Karls this year?!] Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Ah, spring is around the corner and it can't come too soon for me. I'm not a cold weather person. I can almost hear the song "It might as well be spring."
I love the colors and the myriad of textures (from the gauzy dress to the dried grass) ... absolutely dreamy. Only reinforces the fact that I have to get to Paris in time to see the Christmas windows someday ... merci Genie for bringing me a taste of them!
Malyss, I just added GALAF to my off-beat French vocabulary... merci!
Brittany, I am in Mobile with temperatures requiring the use of our air conditioner, but I think that the temps in Paris are seasonably cool, but certainly not frightful. I will be returning to Paris in a few weeks and will give an update!
Veronique, I am with you! This is a Chanel window with all its elegance and luxury... not a snarky face to be seen!
The weather outside is delightful, very sunny and warm so ......"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas". May the peace and joy of Christmas be with you and your family in 2012. Bisous

Le rêve... J'aime particulièrement cette prise... Elle paraît si sereine.

I guess summer is only a few months away.

warmer weather on way the coming days, your picture prepares us !
Is the weather frightful in Paris at the moment?
Hope you're keeping warm with some chocolat chaud !
Much more beautyful than the GALAF (as we say in France for Galeries Lafayette) window!and so dreamy!
lovely.

The french really know how to do windows. I miss that here in my town. This has lots of textures and elegance. Really beautiful.

I prefer the colder temperatures. Nice shot though.
It sure doesn't look like a December window display.
