I have seen this restaurant/café on three or four trips to Paris
but have never stopped for a coffee.
Why, you ask?
I am always full from a stop at blé sucré or from the other direction,
the pâtisseries of Marché d'Aligre...
Perhaps the next time

Il faut d'abord que tu passes à la pâtisserie avant de t'attabler à cette jolie terrasse.
gros bisous
If I go before you I'll let you know. Don't bet :-)
Being between two great bakeries is a bad place for a restaurant! :o)
This is just as I remember the restaurants in Paris. It looks so familiar. Perhaps I had a bite between French icons at this spot.
Paris is one big sensual feast!
Such a typical, wonderful Parisian scene :-) You must stop there someday for some treats....
Nice shot Genie, right now with the heavy rain clouds above me I'd love to be in Paris having a coffee!
I went there. Amazing!
I don't know this place, but I'd try.
Well more french then this is not possibly. Thanks for showing.
Always good to have goals! This seems like such a nice Paris setting.
I think you should stop by --- maybe for a birthday treat? Bon Voyage!
Since you have been a regular passerby, you OWE it to yourself and them to stop for awhile!! Lovely scene as all Paris cafes seem to be.
hmmm...
This looks like it is worth a visit!
Cette terrasse donne envie de s'y poser...

This café/restaurant is right next to the apartment where I stayed in July 2010 and 2011! I had breakfast there last year on my very first day, right after arriving to Paris. Good memories! ;-)
PPP......Perfect Paris Picture!

There are just too many fabulous places in Paris Genie, this restaurant does look tres inviting though!
Oh, yes, bad place for a restaurant between two excellent bakeries!! It looks like a great place! I'd love to be sitting there right now! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy, mon amie!

Well, at least you have a good excuse (or two)! It does look awfully inviting, though—and plenty of tables free!
What a great looking little restaurant. I'm loving those cane chairs! Nice to catch up with you today, my friend!
Hugs,
Tammy
A very nice looking place. Maybe you should make a special effort to try it this time.
Please stop and tell us what it's like :)
Hmm, an empty terrace on a sunny day. That might be a bad sign...
Gosh Genie,
It must be hard walking past all of these cafe's and restaurants and not stopping in every few blocks. LOL I wouldn't get very far for sure!
I am always ready for a little coffee and people watching.
Kris
I like very much "les cafés parisiens"

Love that wonderful shade of yellow against the brown wood. Very inviting scene....I'm also wondering why no customers.....
Well, the reason there is no one in the cafe is that it is too early on a Sunday morning
Next stop....... Paris!!

Genie
Looks like a great place for people watching.
The place looks quite inviting. Maybe they also have a couple of nice desserts that could satisfy that huger for sweeties... :)
God bless you!
