That reminds me of the first time I visited Neuschwanstein castle. It was so foggy you literally couldn't see the exterior, or even your hand in front of your face, let alone the gorgeous hills and scenery. It was really comical. Fortunately I did make it back a few more times! Great photo:)

What a wonderful shot of the Eiffel.
I *love* it. It looks like God is erasing the Eiffel Tower.
it looks wonderful in the fog, have a nice day, big hugh Kathrin
It gives us an idea about how the tower was looking like during the time it was built!
Nice shot Genie, captures the mood! Have a nice day...
What a coincidence! I have an identical photo ;-)
Isn't it amazing how the tower always looks fantastic no matter the weather?
You have me imagining what it was like watching her being built, Genie!
J'aime bien lorsqu'elle est comme ça...
Bonne journée,
Pierre
Nice foggy one. Like it
To see a half Eiffeltower is very unusual.
It doesn't matter. I don't care. The Tower is beautiful always, always.

I have never been to Paris but when I see the Eiffel Tower I definitely the know the location. Nice foggy day capture Genie.
the fog that ate the eiffel tower.
Very original shot. Ciao from Italy
I like her with her head in the clouds! :)

It reminds me of Jack's beanstalk!
Wonderfully moody!

Oooh la la! Je l'aime. I hope you're getting along well with your new addition from Brattcat. Would it be odd to call it Brattcat?
C'est la même météo de Lux, en ce moment il y a beaucoup de brouillard!
Et bravo, la photo est superbe!

It's as if the top is gone! I love the way the mist has taken the top off. It does give it a mysterious look.
I really like this photo!
Lovely! as if the tower goes up and up out of sight...
Even cloudy weather can't dull the charms of this iconic tower.
In all my visits, I have not experienced Paris like this. A couple of times rainly, more times overcast, but mostly sunny.
I must vary the time of year that I visit.
fantastic image, genie. how does one say 'fog' in french? ;-)
very special ! bravo !!
The clouds accentuate the height of the tower.
Warm regards
I love that. It looks so mysterious.
Amanda -- the fog is la brouillard. And la tour is beautiful, meme dans la brouillard. Great shot, Genie!
November is not an ideal time to be in Paris, though some people may say any time is an ideal time.
Such symbolism. Leaving Tour Eiffel unfinished so you will return. Or, taking part of Paris back with you. Or, . . .
What a wonderful photo. I'm jealous.
La Tour is always imposing and magnificent. The low clouds emphasized the height and all that was missing this day.
Jack, you are right on both counts. I am never finished with Paris, and I always take a part of Paris home with me in my heart and in my photos.
Thank you all for your kind comments.
Bises,
Genie
I think strange weather and Europe just go hand-in-hand. Love this photo though.
I've missed your blog Genie.
Now that's another winner!
