Une très belle présentation qui met bien en valeur des légumes de printemps que j'ai hâte de retrouver sur nos étalages... Une belle capture photographique. Gros bisous
The shop owner is an artist... What an attractive display of... artichokes and asparagus (!) Good for you for spotting and capturing it during one of your walks. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Nice composition. Is that white asparagus? A Dutchman once told me it is really green asparagus that is progressively buried as the stalks emerge through the soil so it doesn't photo synthesize. Very labour intensive making white asparagus more expensive than the green one. Sounds logical?
Time to fix dinner. I don't know how the French do it? Everything always looks so inviting and inspirational...Like you want to scoop it all up and take it with you!
Delightful and delicious looking! That's a very talented shop keeper! You always get such great captures, Genie! I'd love to be going there this morning instead of my usual grocery store -- which is anything but delightful!!! Have a lovely evening, mon amie!

I quite like the simple arrangement...esp the overall soft green color..
I should try arranging my vegetables thus. I might be more tempted to eat them...
Well a beautiful display. Thats for sure. Thanks for showing
Yum! Asparagus and artichokes!
Gorgeous and creative!!
The French have such a flair for displays. Love this one!
Nice shot. Have a good afternoon.
Even the street vendors have that flair for presentation! :)

Virginia hit it right on the nose. There is certainly some flair in that display.
Simple and inviting, isn't it?
Very inviting! Yes!

Those are some elegant-looking veggies you captured, Genie. I'll take one of the gorgeous artichauts—with a bit of lemon butter, s'il te plait.
Oooh, a little garlic butter and pepper, how nice would that be!! Delicious shot Genie.
ah! asperge blanc!
i had a friend who loved to shop for this in paris markets.

The French have color sense in the genes!
So funny to see the baggies... I remember being so surprised that the French made mounds of earth around their asparagus to keep it white.
How, exactly, is that box balanced? It looks really precarious.
I wish I could find white asparagus like that here.
A real still life of asparagus and artichokes!
Hmm, kinda makes me wish i liked asparagus!
Miam-miam pour la bouche et les yeux! I love the contrast of the soft greens and creamy white against the red background! Marvelous photo!
do the fruits and veggies there taste really good? I have heard mixed opinions.
