Livres anciens - Librairie Paul Vulin

Old books..

Beautiful, if slightly worn, old books can be bought in many places
throughout Paris from the flea markets to the Passages de Paris.
If they were not so heavy, I would have a larger collection.

This photo reminds me
that I need to bring back at least one with every trip.
I no longer travel with a guide book,
so there should be room for a single antique book in my carry-on.

Livres - Rue de Seine

2012 Oct 6 P1010947

Bookstores in Paris are full of treasures:

stacks and stacks of beautiful books, some to be read
and some just to be enjoyed.

This store is not much larger than you see right here,
filled to the ceiling.
