What a wonderful shot Genie! She does look a little stern... but perhaps the baguettes will help to cheer her up a little?
Quand Jésus a multiplié les pains...c'était peut-être des baguettes ?
Hello Genie:It could be that she is exceptionally hungry, or greedy even!! But we suspect not.We very much hope that there is someone in the convent who has the coffee in readiness.
Nice one. Could only be made in France.
I love this photo Genie. It could have been taken 20 years ago and she would be on the same mission. Bravo!
What a nice photo! I wonder why she keeps the three baguettes apart from what she carries in the trolley? ;-)
Terrific capture! What a classic pic. So unexpected. Bravo!
Fabulous photo - made me smile!
Donnez nous notre pain quotidien ...Brilliant spontaneity and composition! Well done, Genie!OJ
Wonderful color tone for this interesting "slice of life" shot.
The baguette lady. Wonder how that translates into French? :-)
I want to see a book called "Genie's Parisian Characters."
One hopes the baguettes will cheer her up!
Was wondering the same as Peter. :~} Perhaps she's in a teaching order. She resembles the Dominicans who taught me (stern look and all) and maybe the 3 baguettes are for the nuns' lunch while the rest are for the students.
I'm betting that the word "Eureka!" or its French equivalent escaped your lips when you came across the sister and her baguettes.
Beautiful shot.
Great capture of la vie quotidien!
Great street shot. Not many nuns in traditional habits running around these days.
