Back from some days away in Rotterdam and what a delicious return! This looks to be the most perfect lunch to go......French bread is always a must for us.
Isn't it wonderful how good the food in Paris can be? And almost universally so! When we lived on rue des Ursins we frequently bought lunch (take out) at Huré, a bakery on rue d"Arcol. We could sit in our dining room with the window open and watch the Bateau Mouches on the Seine and hear the street music from Pont d'Arcol. On aurait dit un rêve!
Mmmm, rocket! This makes me even more frustrated than usual that I have become wheat intolerant: the small slices of gluten-free cardboard that pass for 'bread' need toasting to be even semi-edible, and even freshly-picked rocket wouldn't improve them :o(

Sandwiches à la roquette ? C'est original.
This is my kind of lunch Genie. Fresh, tasty and mobile.
Hello Genie,

And, even the sandwiches are chic in France....!
Definitely a "green" sandwich. :-)
I'm prepping up picnic sandwiches today -- they won't look nearly so divine as that!

You are clever, Genie. I would probably have walked past without seeing a photo op in the stack of sandwiches.
