Gérard Mulot - citron, citron vert, pistache!

Gérard Mulot

Some of the best macarons in Paris are found here.

Although I make some very fine macarons,
I have never been able to make a tree.
Perhaps it is because they are all too quickly consumed!

  1. Now that's what I call a tree!

  2. I don't think I've ever tasted a macaron.

  3. I'm feeling very sorry for Revrunner! (On the other hand, it's something to look forward to.) Next time you make macaroons, invite me, Genie. I promise to keep all consumers at bay just long enough for you to make a "tree" and photograph it. :~}

  4. I'll see if I can find out how they are attached. I hope it's with edible filling or something like that so that the macarons can be consumed!

  5. I don't make a lot of New Year's Resolutions but one is to learn how to make macarons. (Although Trader Joe's are quite respectable, all things considered!)I would guess they are attached with something like a royal icing or meringue...

  7. Oh, yes! Mulot DOES make some of the best macarons in Paris! His shop, in the shadows of Saint-Sulpice as it is, is one of «Louis'» favorites in Paris!
