Place des Vosges - Ma Bourgogne

Ma Bourgogne

No matter the season or the weather, this bistrot in the heart of Place des Vosges attracts both the locals and the tourists.  I remember years ago having to choose whether to eat or to drink as we were short of cash and they did not take credit cards.

We chose the "house red."

  4. Instead of "eat, drink and be merry", it was more like "eat or drink and be merry", huh? :-)

  7. *Un picket de vin maison*, is always a good idea, Genie :-) I have not commented much this year, but visited your blog all the same. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos of Paris. They meant a lot to this Gallic expat! Bonne année to you and yours. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

  11. I love the story of the choice - and the contrast in the photo of the cool outside and warm inside (color)!
