Parc des Buttes Chaumont
The first time I viewed this scene it seemed impossible that I was still in Paris, well within Boulevard Peripherique. On this Sunday afternoon, the park was full of people enjoying a sunny afternoon of leisure.

Know the spot well. This looks like one of those "follies" you see on English estates.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh, I have many memories as a kid there!(sigh)
ReplyDeleteOne of the most beautiful parks in Paris, certainly. I like that it is so hilly compared to the others... Lovely shot, Genie. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Genie this is an amazing place. It's on my list. Is it far from central Paris. I would never have known it existed but for your blog. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful place! Hard to imagine that it is still in Paris! :)
ReplyDeleteLe belvedere de Sybille. Before the park, there was an old quarry of some kind, mainly used as a trash heap. Lovely place.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Genie! (Wish I was there having a picnic on the grass instead of eating my lunch at my desk.)
ReplyDeleteGenie, this is a beautiful parc, I have been with friends and have some amazing photos .. If you climb up to the top in the little dome , and zoom out you can get a photo of the Sacre Coeur :-)
